The follow-up album to 2015’s powerful "i’m not real" shows no friends diving deeper into their own sound, trimming the fat and adding depth to make songs that are able to challenge without losing their appeal. Dealing with ever-present apparitions, escaping, and forgetting, "i think we’re all alone now" is another solid rumination on premonition.
